Westminster Bridge

Situated at 89–95 Westminster Bridge Road, within the historic Lower Marsh Conservation Area, this project involved the transformation of a remarkable late Victorian building dating back to 1894. Known for its elegant and ornate façade, the building has been part of a constantly evolving area of London, where historic architecture meets modern city life.  

As subcontractors on this project, our role was to help bring new life into the building while preserving its original character and architectural identity. Our scope of work included complete external refurbishment, structural internal works, and high-quality interior finishes across the development. 

The project required extensive internal remodelling, structural alterations, and close coordination within three separate buildings above commercial premises. Working within an existing structure always brings unique challenges, especially when balancing modern construction requirements with the preservation of historical elements. 

From structural works that reshaped the internal layout to carefully delivered finishes that completed the final spaces, every stage required precision, planning, and attention to detail.  Projects like this demonstrate our construction approach: respecting the history of a building while creating spaces designed for modern living and future generations.
