A Room Within A Room

C&C London Group was proud to collaborate with Mooradian Studio in the delivery of this distinctive meeting room for Tomorrow Bureau's offices within the Greenwich Design District, London.

Designed by Mooradian Studio, the project challenged conventional workplace design by requiring a structure that could be fully dismantled and relocated in the future. Working closely with the architect's vision, our team was responsible for the construction, installation and technical execution of the scheme, ensuring that every element was delivered with precision and attention to detail.

At the heart of the project is a tower constructed from gabion cages filled with innovative foamed glass made from recycled waste materials. The lightweight nature of the material supports both the sustainability goals and the relocatable nature of the structure. Careful installation of the gabion system was essential to achieve the architect's intended effect, with varying levels of fill allowing natural light to pass through at controlled angles while providing privacy where required.

The project was completed with the installation of a reusable aluminium profile framework and glazed partitions, creating a flexible and contemporary meeting space that balances functionality, sustainability and design excellence.

This project showcases the value of close collaboration between architect and contractor, transforming an ambitious concept by Mooradian Studio into a fully realised workspace through careful craftsmanship, technical expertise and attention to detail.
